Dr Kelvin Tam is an orthopaedic surgeon.

He believes in accurate diagnosis, patient education and aggressive non-operative treatment. If surgery is required, he is able to perform both minimally-invasive arthroscopic and conventional open techniques in all aspect of orthopaedics surgery.

Dr Tam has many years in the training and able to deal with different aspects of cases especially in sports related injuries as well as adult joint replacements. 

After receiving his medical degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2006, Dr Tam did his orthopaedic residency training in Tuen Mun Hospital, Hong Kong. During his fellowship training he visited: Calgary, Canada; Nottingham, England; Hokkaido, Japan; Lyon, France; and Beijing, China. He joined Asia Medical Specialists in 2017.

Dr Tam was a Vice President of the Hong Kong Orthopaedic Association (2018-2020); Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor (Department of Orthopaedics) of Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Dr Tam is based in Hong Kong, and is also a visiting consultant at Beijing Raffles Clinic  and Raffle Hospital Shanghai.
