Influenza Vaccine (2022-2023)

Seasonal influenza is approaching, and vaccination is one of the most effective ways to prevent the infection and its complications. It is recommended that all members of the public aged 6 months or above, except those with known contraindications, should receive the seasonal influenza vaccine for personal protection.

2022-2023 influenza vaccine (flu shot and nasal spray) is available. You may consider receiving the vaccine by nasal spray depending on your health condition and need. Please consult a doctor if you have any questions. 

Vaccination subsidy scheme 2022/23

Under the Vaccination Subsidy Scheme (VSS) 2022/23, subsidised seasonal influenza vaccination will be provided to eligible Hong Kong residents starting from 6th Oct, 2022. Eligible indiviual with Vaccination Subsidy Scheme may choose to have flu shot for free or nasal spray at $400. 

Eligible groups as the followings:

• Pregnant Women
• Persons of Age 50 Years or Above
• Children
• Persons with Intellectual Disability (PID)
• Recipients of Disability Allowance
• Recipients of Standard Rate of "100% Disabled" or "requiring constant attendance" Under CSSA
