Centre for Health Protection (CHP) updates on viral pneumonia cases occurring in Wuhan

The number of viral pneumonia cases occurring in Wuhan has been increasing and CHP has received reports of a total of 135 suspected cases fulfilling the reporting criteria in Hong Kong (as of 22 January 2020, 12:00 noon) since 31 December 2019. At the moment, there is no vaccine for this infectious disease. Public should maintain good personal hygiene at all times and keep both hands clean to prevent pneumonia and respiratory tract infection. Prevention tips and information regarding the infection is available on CHP website.
